Removal

  1. Recover the refrigerant charge from the unit.

  2. Unsolder the liquid inlet and liquid outlet valve line connections.

  3. Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the tank.

Installation

  1. Install a new tank in the unit and tighten the mounting bolts.

  2. Solder the inlet line and outlet line connections.

    Importante It is strongly recommended that dry nitrogen be used to purge the system during any solder operations (Refer to Using Pressurized Nitrogen).

  3. Pressurize the refrigeration system and check for leaks (Refer to Prova di tenuta nel sistema di refrigerazione.).

  4. If no leaks are found, recover the refrigerant used for the leak test.

  5. Evacuate the system (Refer to Svuotamento e pulizia del sistema di refrigerazione).

  6. Recharge the unit with R-404A/R-452A (Refer to Ricarica del sistema con refrigerante).

  7. Recharge the unit with R-134a/R-513A (Refer to Ricarica del sistema con refrigerante).

  8. Perform a controller pretrip test to verify system operation.
